Historique :	Le tableau de Jean Cousin (le Fils, env. 1522-env. 1594) réalisé vers 1585 pour le couvent des Minimes de Vincennes est actuellement conservé au Louvre. Pierre de Jode (Anvers, env. 1570-1634) l'a gravé probablement au début du 17e siècle (vers 1615). Pierre Drevet, graveur imprimeur, a réalisé cette édition entre 1726, date où il reçoit un logement au Louvre et 1738 date de sa mort. Une autre épreuve est conservée dans l'église paroissiale de Cahors.
